Josh LeSage, with his extensive background in Christian education and notable status as a leading education professional in the state of Arizona, has recently been appointed the Head of Portland Christian School, with his tenure commencing on July 1, 2023. His prior service includes his role as the principal of a nationally ranked Christian high school in Chandler, where he emphasized technology-enabled best practices and facilitated collaborations between faculty members and the broader community.
Through his active participation, he succeeded in implementing a dynamic STEM program that incorporates state-of-the-art equipment and facilities. He also engaged in strategic partnerships with Grand Canyon University in Phoenix to launch new K-12 initiatives. His notable contributions in this endeavor include working as a subject matter expert in the establishment of a master of educational administration degree program with a specific emphasis on Christian education. In addition to this, he demonstrated his proficiency by developing course titles, curating content, and creating benchmark assignments, effectively reflecting the practical skills required by Christian school principals.
Prior to his tenure in Arizona, Josh LeSage led the Hosanna Christian Academy in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, as headmaster. His leadership was marked by significant growth, with the school nearly tripling in size under his guidance. He was instrumental in establishing a rigorous curriculum and assembling a highly credentialed teaching staff. His innovative approach also extended beyond the classroom; he founded a community-based summer lunch program to support low-income families in the local area. Now, as the new Head of School at Portland Christian School, Josh LeSage continues to dedicate his career to advancing Christian education.
